Police Department
Welcome to the Greentown Police Department!
The Greentown Police Department serves a small community of approximately 2,400 residents, located in Howard County, Indiana. The Town of Greentown Police Department is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our citizens through professionally supported and trained police offers. Officers strive to provide an environment that will allow citizens to live and work in a safe and secure community.
If you suspect criminal activity or have witnessed a crime you can contact an On Duty Officer by calling the Howard County Dispatch Center at 765-457-1105 or 911. By allowing concerned citizens to report crimes or suspected criminal activity anonymously, the fear of reprisal or retribution can be reduced. Also, by implementing community involvement and awareness together, we can keep our community a great place to live.
“The mission of the Greentown Police Department is to protect and enhance the quality of life by providing a safe and secure environment for all who live, work or visit our community.”
